My short talk on visualizing hyperbolic honeycombs at the twelfth Gathering for Gardner, based on joint work with Henry Segerman. Difficult to fit our paper contents into 10 minutes!

Great stuff!
ReplyDeleteNice recording! Indeed, it's too short! I really hope you get a chance to give it the time it deserves!
ReplyDeleteThanks Refurio Anachro! I may have a chance to give an hour talk on this topic later this summer, but the recording will likely just be my spherical camera or GoPro in that case. The G4G conference had a crazy professional recording setup with 3 giant cameras that looked like robots from the Matrix :)
ReplyDelete> [maybe another talk soon]
ReplyDeleteThat would be great! I imagine they do have quite a setup, it sure looks like high gloss from afar. But I noticed some of the usual suspects responsible for math on youtube had invitations to talk in previous years. I bet it was a fun event!
Nice to see it again, Roice! I would say no other talk provided such a tantalizing glimpse at such a large space of beautiful figures.
