I spent the last two evenings making a small site to act as a portfolio of math viz projects. Let me know what you think!
roice3.org
It's easy to end up obsessing over these things. Time to pull myself away and sleep!
You are way too clever! Most of my calculations are mental :(
ReplyDeleteGorgeous site, Roice! Well done.
ReplyDeletewendy krieger, maybe it is the reverse. I'm handicapped to have to code something visual to understand it :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Scott Vorthmann! I want to put our clif4d up here too!
ReplyDeleteVery nice!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful
ReplyDeleteWhat a great site and beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteThank you all for the positive feedback!
ReplyDeleteRoice produces brilliant and beautiful pictures. They are an inspiration to see.
ReplyDeleteLooks great but why do you need more personal sites? Wouldn't it be easier to maintain just one main one, suitably organized?
ReplyDeleteMelinda Green, for a long while, I've been bothered that all my projects land on the gravitation3d site, because gravitation3d just happened to be the first project I needed a website for.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if I'll move over previous projects, but I'd like roice3.org to become that one, suitably organized site. If I had started with a better generic site name like superliminal, I definitely wouldn't be complicating things with another domain name :)
Your comment made me realize I need to repoint gravitation3d.com/roice to roice3.org, so thanks! (currently it points at roice3.blogspot.com).

ReplyDeleteI should have guessed your intention. Note that superliminal was a bad choice because it mixes Greek and Roman roots. The correct word should have been "supraliminal". People and things tend to grow into their names, so in the end it doesn't much matter.
